Roberto Guidetti

Currently: Associated Professor in Zoology (Department of Life Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia). He obtained his PhD in Animal Biology in 2000, and has been long-term visiting researchers in USA and Sweden. His research interests are related to the evolution of morphological and physiological adaptations in tardigrades using different morphological and molecular techniques and approaches. He is also interested in the population genetics of alien species to better understand their diffusion. He coordinated and cooperated in several national and international projects granted by national and privates agencies. He authored 89 papers, 66 of which published in international peer reviewed Journals. He has been member of the scientific and organizing committees of five international meeting.
